About CTW

Join the thousands of youth across Ontario who are taking the challenge to make a difference in their communities!

The Change The World - Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge is a call to action for youth aged 14 to 18 to volunteer through a wide variety of community initiatives. Now in it’s 10th year, Change The World is an opportunity for youth to make a difference in their community.

Change The World 2017 will be kicking off during National Volunteer Week and running for 6 weeks starting April 23rd to June 3rd. This year, 24 volunteer centers across Ontario are taking part to engage 39, 000 youth to volunteer at least 3 hours during the campaign.

Locally, Sarnia Gives - the online volunteer center for Sarnia Lambton, is aiming to engage students to help reach the local goal of 1000 hours!

Students who take part and volunteer for a minimum of 3 hours between April 23rd and June 3rd will be recognized with a certificate from the Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade (MCIIT) and Sarnia Gives. This certificate is a great addition to student resumes and demonstrates their enthusiasm and interest in volunteerism and community involvement.
